CHICAGO AREA SUPPORT GROUPS

Here are some Chicagoland Groups you can join. These grougs are all support groups of various natures. Some are for people who just like to meet, some are for people who need emotional support, some are for people who need transitional help, some are a combination of all of these things. Chi-Triess
 The Chicagoland chapter of an international support and social organization focused on the needs of heterosexual crossdressers, single or married, their spouses or significant others, children and friends. We welcome you to our website where you can learn about us dispel myths and ignorance associated with misperceptions of gender-gifted persons, and perhaps respond to our invitation to come join our group.   
Chicago Gender Society
The Chicago Gender Society is a social and educational non-profit organization for crossdressers, transsexuals, and their supporters. Its goal is to provide social and educational opportunities, as well as peer support, for its members. It seeks to promote a positive self-image for crossdressers and transsexuals in the business community, the media, and the general public. It supports legislation which protects the rights of all minorities. CGS is not a dating service or a therapy group.
Island Girls
A Chicago Gender Society Special Interest group. A group for girls in the southwest suburbs and south side of Chicago.  
Chi Upsilon Iota Tri-Ess in Champaign
The Champaign chapter of Tri-Ess. If you are in the Champaign/Urbana area, I highly recommend you join.

Chicago Crossdressers and Transgender Meetup Group
This group meets monthly at Spa Skin Style Boutique & Transformation Studio. This is a growing group of girls that come for support, socials and education.

Illinois Gender Advocates
The Illinois Gender Advocates works on behalf of the Transgendered community for transgendered advocacy.
